High quality gas sensor solutions for Controlled Atmosphere (CA) storage

Precise regulation of O2, CO2 and N2 concentrations. A controlled atmosphere is an agricultural storage method in which the oxygen, carbon dioxide and nitrogen concentrations are regulated. The humidity and temperature are also controlled, resulting in a slow loss of quality during prolonged bulk storage of products such as apples, pears, grains, legumes, etc.

  • Separation Systems for Grain Separation

Even though the product has changed, Forsberg remains the industry leader in separation systems for grain separation. Forsberg products were designed under patents that cover the vital components of gravity separation, high speed stone separation, variable speed controls and chemical treatment processes. Our 50,000 square foot corporate facility houses a state-of-the-art test facility which allows us to experiment with different materials using a variety of processes in a short time. Forsbergs separators can remove damaged seeds or contaminants from a variety of bulk materials. Stones, dirt, glass and other objects are able to be removed from the grains quickly and efficiently. Stones, dirt, glass and other objects are able to be removed from the grains quickly and efficiently.

  • Pollen Control

Many plants will produce abundant quantities of very lightweight pollen grains. Transfer of grains or pollination is generally mediated by the wind, which is a requirement for any healthy indoor garden. When it lands on a compatible pistil or female cone, it germinates, producing a seed. This is an undesirable process when farming certain crops. Pollination control is one of the major concerns of gardeners as it can affect the final outcome of different types of crops.Pollination occurs when pollen from the male plant reaches the female stigmas and finds its way to the egg cell of the female plant that is inside the pistil. After the process of pollination, the seed is produced. To ensure pollen is effectively controlled, AgriAir equipment will destroy airborne contaminants finer than even the smallest grains. AgriAir machines are capable of destroying up to 99.99% of airborne pollen through our process of photo hydro ionization.

  • Silo Grain Remote Monitoring

Wireless sensors for monitoring grain quantity in silos. Grain level is measured and volume or weight are calculated. Information is transmitted over a cellular network to a central server for viewing over the Internet. Additional information includes temperature, power supply status and cellular signal strength. Authorized users can browse and view the state of each silo.
