Assessment of public risk perception in North-western China

Based on analysing the public risk perception in North-western China, following conclusions are obtained: there is strong correlation between individual characteristic and risk perception; female risk perception is stronger than male; from strong to weak, the order of age characteristics is 20?30, 0?20, 40?50, 30?40, 50?60 and over 60; the order of educational characteristics is senior high school, college, illiterate, junior high school, primary school; the order of occupation characteristics is student, farmer, teacher, worker and functionary; the order of habitation characteristics is city, countryside, towns, and metropolis.
