The pollutant concentrations will be calculated in a parallel plane to the water surface (XY-Plane). The plane height will be determined by the user (zr).

All the points of the XY-plane will be to a zr height. The zr value is chosen by the user before the calculation. We will be able to make many calculations considering different plane heights. The different plane heights will be determined by the user (zr values). In this way, the physical form of the pollutant plume can be studied.

Example: Calculation in the XY-plane, zr=0 (height of the water surface). The red square represents a point source (position of the outfall pipe). The red colour represents high pollutant concentrations.
