“We required a building to replace rapidly aging temporary accommodation which had been on site for over 25 years. Through a competitive tender and on a very tight timescale, Modulek provided a building which exceeded all expectations. From initial design to handover, the project ran seamlessly with no request becoming a problem; even those last minute changes which are always inevitable! An incredibly modern and thoroughly efficient building provided by a focussed, well presented and polite workforce, well versed in understanding the demanding needs of the Education sector.”
A new philosophy and ethics building has been improved by Modulek at Ringwood School, an 11-18 Academy in Hampshire, replacing existing temporary buildings which had come to the end of their usable life.
Designed, delivered and installed by Modulek, the building has four light, bright and airy classrooms. Each classroom has a distinctive feature wall proven to focus the pupils’ attention. The building is complete with modern toilet facilities and a large office / staff room.
The exterior is a mixture of timber and cream render with Brise soleil solar shading to the east elevation. A stylish canopy offers shelter over the main entrance door and completes the modern look and feel of the building.
Completed in just 12 weeks, the students starting lessons in their new building after February half term.
