Gender and agriculture in the information society

Information and communication technologies (ICTs) are ‘enabling’ tools that can help rural communities in ACP countries to capitalise on emerging opportunities, especially in education and income generations. A handful of case studies demonstrate how women benefit from, amongst other examples, rural information centres and local radio networks.
