Guidelines on employment. Supplement to the Programme for the World Census of Agriculture 2000 (En)

0
The Census of Agriculture is a large-scale periodic statistical operation for the collection of quantitative information on the structure of the nation's agricultural sector. A major component of this multi-faceted sector of the agricultural economy is agricultural labour. The 'Guidelines on Employment' is a supplement to the definitions, concepts and standards presented in the Programme for the World Census of Agriculture 2000, on collection of agricultural labour to help countries generate a database that is internationally comparable.

The primary objective is to measure the amount of labour resources used on an agricultural holding and define the type, level, and source of inputs contributing to agricultural production, investment, and maintenance of the agricultural holding.
