A.A.M.S. (Advanced Agricultural Measurement Systems) is a recently founded company that started in 2002 with the development and production of test equipment for agricultural machines.
A team with many years of experience in the field of agricultural technology, developed for the time being mostly products for controlling, calibrating and adjustment of the sprayers for the agriculture and horticulture.
Today A.A.M.S. offers a complete range of products for the control and inspection of sprayers, used in agriculture and horticulture (including horticulture under glass) and equipment for controlling (chemical) fertiliser spreaders and slurry injectors.
A.A.M.S. aims to stay involved into the latest developments in the field of agricultural mechanisation and to reach out the necessary instruments and techniques to be able to adjust new and existing agricultural machines.
A.A.M.S. develops therefore measurement and testing equipment. Besides the development of various measurement instruments, A.A.M.S. carries out various developments of products in behalf of and supports governments, constructors and other organisations by offering instructions and specific courses.
A.A.M.S. (Advanced Agricultural Measurement Systems) was founded on April 1st 2001 as a cooperative company with the main objective to develop and market new test equipment throughout the world.
The 5 original associates had a lot of experience in the field of spraying machines, electronics, measurement equipment, agriculture and horticulture.
After some time in which new products were developed step by step, some additional capital was searched for to distribute and further develop the products. In 2002 additional capital was found and 2 associates were replaced by 2 different ones with a large knowledge in topics as agriculture, horticulture and in the field of management and international trade.
On June 2002 ir. Jan Langenakens started as the first employee, responsible for the general management of the company and the marketing of the products. Shortly afterwards Katleen Neuville joined the company for administrative support and ing. Wim Vanpeperstraete for further product developments. This team of 3 persons can also count on the support of Mr. José Neuville to present the products and represent them to various customers at different exhibitions.
A.A.M.S. (Advanced Agricultural Measurement Systems) has a solid background in the field of research.
José Neuville (RDS Electronics) has always, supported and followed up the research of sprayers and measuring techniques (financially and materially). Jan Langenakens (General Manager) has always been active in the world of research as researcher and project leader in the field of agricultural mechanization since he graduated in 1992, at first at the KULeuven, laboratory for Agricultural Mechanization in Leuven (Belgium) and at the Centre for Agricultural Research, Department of Mechanization at Merelbeke (Belgium).
The devices are developed and traded by A.A.M.S. in order to achieve a better adjustment of the agricultural machines and to obtain the same result with less inputs. Due to better adjustments on sprayers, a reduction of the use of pesticides is obtained. All measuring devices assure the agricultural machines to be used more efficiently.
