The AquaLifeNet community fish farming program is designed to increase the income of farmers across the developing world. It uses the latest technology in biological filtration and aquaculture to assist farmers in producing more fish and shrimps in less time, using fewer resources and less land.
The AquaIifeNet model is simple, flexible and sustainable, ensuring long-term impact. can be tailored to match any country’s strategic and developmental framework. It can be adapted to upgrade existing infrastructure, to increase the yields of existing fish and shrimp farms, or to build new enterprise networks.
The system is easy to use and energy efficient. It enhances water conditions and increases fish production with minimal investment, making it ideal for small-scale fish farms. Biofishency (www.biofishency.com) is led by Igal Magen and Cobi Levanon.

Our solution is an integrated industrial set up with sheltered free-standing fish ponds, with an efficient Mini R.A.S biofiltration system servicing multiple fish ponds. Such community fish farms can be built in locations where aquaculture had never been considered feasible due to shortage of space or water resources, and supported by a central farm hub with hatchery and nursery. The central farm supplies fingerlings, professional and technical support, and creates synergy for the farmers toward local and distant markets and the suppliers. This network of farms can function as a combined cooperative venture, enabling economies of scale such as combined transportation of fish product to market.
