Bennett & Co. (Crop Storage Engineering) Ltd.
Mike Bennett started Bennett & Co (Crop Storage Engineering) Ltd in 1998. Mike has had over thirty years’ experience of working in the field of crop drying and crop storage engineering. Operating from our base near Swaffham in Norfolk, we offer a service over the whole of East Anglia and beyond. We design and build grain and crop drying and storage facilities, from supplying individual pieces of equipment, such as a potato store temperature controller to a feed storage bin, to upgrading existing facilities or a complete turnkey project to meet your increased grain handling requirements. We will work with you through each stage, with advice, specification, design, planning, project management, installation and on-going maintenance. Facilities for grain, potatoes, onions and vegetables are undertaken as well as drying of specialist products.

About us
We work with a number of especially selected sub-contractors, many of whom we have a long established relationship, to produce high quality outcomes using market leading suppliers of steel frame buildings, silos, continuous flow grain driers, bulk handling equipment, fans, motorised louvres, refrigeration, modulating burners, grain stirrers, timber tunnels and drying floors and state of the art control and monitoring equipment.
Mike, following a degree in agricultural engineering at the former National College of Agricultural Engineering, spent two years in Kenya doing agricultural development with VSO. We still maintain this interest in two organisations which work in East Africa. To our delight we recently discovered that both charities are working in the area Mike worked all those years ago.
