PETER BERGEN INDUSTRIES INC. is a family owned business, which was started in 1949. Bergen manufactures agricultural equipment as well as livestock, flat deck and utility trailers. Our head office and manufacturing plant is located in Drake Saskatchewan. A staff of approximately 30 people produces short-line farm equipment and trailers in our modern 37,000 square foot manufacturing plant. The short-line equipment line up includes the following: Swather Transports, Header Transports, Rock Diggers, Harrow Bars, Bale Carriers, and Grain Augers for Agricultural and Custom use. Our trailer line up includes the following: Trailers for Livestock, Horses and Equipment. These trailers come in both gooseneck and bumper hitch models. Bergen also manufactures Custom products such as: Surface Preparation Blasting Booths, Products for the Oil Field Industry, and Products for the Mining Industry. Between 95 - 98% of our products are manufactured using Canadian materials.
BERGEN INDUSTRIES has always been known for the heavy-duty construction, which is evident in all their products. Bergen´s R&D department continues to work hard at defining the cutting edge for the products they are involved with. Our innovative ideas have been imitated, but the quality is never duplicated. CURRENT GEOGRAPHIC MARKETING ACTIVITY
The products that Bergen Industries produces are marketed mainly through a network of Western Canadian Dealers as well as some Dealers in the North West part of the United States. Sales have also been made to Germany, Kazakstan, Australia, and Costa Rica.
GEOGRAPHIC MARKETING PRIORITIES / STRATEGY
Bergen´s Canadian sales base currently holds a strong position. Bergen is actively seeking exclusive representatives for specific areas of the USA, Australia, Europe and Central America. These markets are being given a priority, but we are also open to other markets.
