Botterill Sales was started in 1994 by Bob Botterill. Bob began selling shortline farm machinery from his farm in order to supplement his farm income. He was always interested in new ideas and ways of doing things, which meant some of his equipment was “unconventional”. Bob became a common site at local farm shows and was known by a great number of people.

Bob brought his son Todd into the business to help do demos and exhibit at farm shows. In 1999 Todd left the business to work for one of their suppliers. Within two years he had become Territory Manager for the Eastern United States and spent a great deal of time travelling through the U.S. learning new farming techniques, especially with tillage and corn production.

In early 2009, Bob passed away in a farming accident. Todd came back to the farm to take over the family business. Within the first year Todd decided to change the business focus from retail sales to wholesale and began working with other dealers to increase their knowledge of other tools available for their customers.

Todd now uses his previous experience to find great products for his customers and advise them on how those tools have been used in the past to increase profitability. With his experience growing up on a farm and having been on farms all over North America and Russia, he knows that each area has its own needs and particular tools needed to get the job done right.
