History

C.H. Waltz Sons was founded in 1947 by Clark H. Waltz and his three sons. They started the business with $25,000 in inventory housed in a 1,500 sq. ft. building.

In 1966 Clark retired turning the business over to his sons. They filed for and were granted a Certificate of Incorporation in 1966. Joseph R. Waltz assumed the role of President, William C. Waltz became the Vice President and Theodore J. Waltz took the position of Treasurer.

Joe retired in 1986 and Ted became President. Bill remained the Vice President until he retired in 1994 at which point Ted became the sole Owner and CEO of the company. For many years Ted's wife, Connie helped run the business but in more recent years his oldest daughter, Deanna G. Boehret was appointed the position of Vice President while his two oldest grandsons, Seth H. Boehret and Justin T. Boehret work in management positions.

C.H. Waltz Sons, Inc. has grown to be a multi-million dollar business with three offices in Pennsylvania employing between 25 and 30 sales persons, parts and service technicians, on-road service & delivery staff, marketing manager, office staff, and managerial positions.

The Cogan Station Office, located in Lycoming County just minutes North of Williamsport and Montoursville, PA, went through a massive renovation in 1999. The renovation turned the 1,500 sq. ft. facility into a 25,000 sq. ft. facility which now includes a 8,000 sq. ft. showroom, parts department and various administrative offices, a 5,200 sq. ft. service department with five large bays and several warehouses. Product lines include Kubota, Case, Polaris, Husqvarna, Simplicity, and Echo. The Cogan Station Office is managed by Ted Waltz, Deanna Boehret and Justin Boehret.

The Dallas Office, located in Luzerne County near Wilkes Barre, PA, was opened in 2007. The office includes a showroom, several offices and a three-bay service garage. Product lines include Kubota, Tanaka, and Snapper. The office is currently under the management of Seth Boehret

In the summer of 2011 C.H. Waltz Sons, Inc. opened a third location just south of Lewisburg on Route 15 in Winfield, PA. The Winfield Office has an impressive showroom and service garage. The office features Kubota, Cub Cadet, Exmark and Echo products, and is under the management of Brad Walters.
