Carlotti GC Macchine Agricole
For over 50 years, Carlotti Macchine Agricole has been manufacturing machines for harvesting products such as potatoes, onions, sweet potatoes, turnips, garlic and shallots. Our aim is to provide small and medium-sized businesses with simple, robust and reliable machines that enable them to approach agricultural mechanisation without sacrificing the quality of the harvested product. We are well aware that each market has its own characteristics and requirements, which is why we value the advice and needs of our farmers, who are the constant driving force behind the improvement of our products. Our network, which is constantly evolving, covers not only the entire Italian territory, but also many European and non-European countries.

Our Story
The company founded by Giulio Carlotti in 1956 initially deals with the construction of wire netting, fences and gates. The production then shifted to the construction of light ladders for fruit harvesting, bale loaders and fertilizer spreaders. In 1965 Giulio Carlotti, a blacksmith and contractor, builds the first semi-automatic potato digger, the RAPID 1 model, making his company known throughout Italy. Over time, the growing needs of farmers have led to the development of increasingly sophisticated harvesting techniques. However, the company has never forgotten the importance of safeguarding the integrity of the product, and has therefore developed non-aggressive machines suitable for harvesting soft products. From a small workshop to an important industrial reality: this is the story of Carlotti GC, Machine Agricole.
Our Path
1965
The first potato digger is designed and created by the founder of the company, Giulio Carlotti: the model is called RAPID 1.
