The CRF Costruzioni S.r.l. is considered today one of the leader companies in the manufacture of self-propelled picker machines for the harvesting of tomatoes. From 1983 at today, thanks to the continuous use of resources in the development and planning of new systems, and thanks to the special skills of our technical staff, the company is launching into the market high quality and innovative products. In confirmation of that, the patent of “Harvesting system with articulated elements” , also defined as “collection bar” , mounted on all the modern pickers in Europe since 1984 and the important Joint Venture with a Chinese government company for the realization of the pickers destine the eastern market.
The current production also expects machine equipped with “a vibrating shaker for the harvesting of hanging fruits” (international patent) called Olive One for the traditional olive-growing and the Self-propelled OLIVE TWO for intensive and super-intensive olive-groves, winner of an award as “EIMA INTERNATIONAL MENTION 2008” during the agricultural show of Bologna.
In 2012, it has been produced the first hydraulic self-propelled machine for the repotting of the plants directly in the emplacements or in greenhouse of the plant nursery with remarkable saving of labour and 'dead' times of manufacturing.
All CFR machines are practical and easy to use: professional and techologically advanced have thought for a simple approach and above all an easy management both for the big agricultural companies and the small farmers.
Specialized in the manufacture of picker machines for the harvesting of tomatoes and of vibrating shakers for the harvesting of olives, almonds, pistachios, nuts, coffee, the CRF company, this year, widened its production range realizing the first hydraulic self-propelled machine for the repotting of the plants in plant nursery.
Also, CRF is studying an unpublished grape harvester taken from the tractor: the prototype has already supplied with the encouraging results in the private field tests executed in the last few years.
The company is born in 1981.The first tomato prototype pickers goes back to 1983, while the first series of 7 units, is commercialized in 1984. In the same year, the partner founder Sedulio Seri, realizes and patents the innovative 'Harvesting system with articulated elements”, also defined as 'collection bar', which drastically improves the pickers' working.
The exceptionality of such idea is strengthened by the fact that today, on all the modern pickers, is still present this system.
The next year, the turning point: the CRF company initials a sole right agreement for its pickers' sales with Federconsorsi and the annual production grows up to 88 units, sold in Italy and abroad.
In the following years, even though, from 2002 on, the tomato sector has entered crisis, the company keeps on develop and put in on the market innovative, always more productive and fast machines.
To end 2010, CRF initials an important cooperation agreement with a Chinese government company for the realization in-place, of the tomato harvesters destined to the eastern market. During the years ninety, the company specializes in the production of washing and boxing up machineries for the vegetables what spinach, salads, fennels, courgettes and tomatoes. Such systems change for form and dimension according to the treated vegetable and the farmer's demands.
Furthermore, CFR can boast in its production range even a machine equipped with “a vibrating shaker for the harvesting of hanging fruits”(international patent) called Olive One. This machine has been officially presented to the public at the Agricultural Fair Agriumbria 2005 of Bastia Umbra. It was immediately successful. Later, it was presented at the Madonnino Fair in Tuscany, and then in Spain, at the “Feira di Jaen”, considered by the experts the most important olive fair in Europe, where OLIVE ONE was defined as the innovation of 2005.
Specialised reviews of the olive sector as “Olio e Olive” (Year VII – june 2005 p. 62, ” IL CONTOTERZISTA” (July/August 2005 p: 53), “TERRA E VITA” (18 – 24 june 2005 p. 73) and “MACCHINE E MOTORI AGRICOLI” (July – August 2005 p. 63), wrote articles in praise of OLIVE ONE describing it as a “machine that greatly safeguards the plants and olives’integrity”.
In 2008, with the cooperation of the company Andreoli Engineering, CRF has introduced the new continuos olive harvesting machine for intensive and super-intensive olive-groves, its name was OLIVE TWO - FORMULA TRAC.
In November 2008, this harvester win an award as “EIMA INTERNATIONAL MENTION 2008” during the agricultural show of Bologna.
