Eireka Pty Ltd was established by Director, James Fitzpatrick deriving from his passion for machinery and years of experience in the industries he services. James embarked on opportunities in domestic and international marketplaces buying equipment and forged strong relationships. Originally from Kilkenny in Ireland, James completed a degree in agriculture and is a diesel mechanic by trade. James continued to work on the family farm and later set up his own agricultural contracting business.

James moved to Australia in 1999, his early career in Australia includes working in the construction industry as a plant operator and field service operator, maintaining and servicing various types of equipment.

James then started his own civil company FB Heavy Plant and started specialising in sewer and water pipe laying, working on some of the larger contracts in Australia including the M7, Brunswick Heads Bypass, T-ways, Snowy Mountains and various sub divisions. The company directed into vegetation management and tree clearing, cleaning up after bushfires and awarded various contracts including those by the RTA.
