Etesia UK
Almost Twenty-Five years ago, Etesia made its entry into the world of green spaces. It was in 1989 and the concept was a revolutionary one – the first ride-on mower with direct ejection and integrated collection, the Hydro 100. This new concept made a strong impact on the mower market and rapidly became the standard-setter. The fact that after over 15 years of exclusivity, Etesia’s main competitors have now adopted an equivalent system is a sign of how far ahead of the game we were. Etesia UK is a company that specialises in building high quality grass cutting machinery for both the professional and domestic market. Started in 1995 with only one walk- behind and one ride-on machine Etesia UK have grown rapidly and now offer a wide range of products that include avariety of walk-behind, ride-on mowers and the awesome Attila range of brush cutters.

Our business: Green space professionals
Etesia belongs to the Outils Wolf group, which is known for its fifty years’ experience in the world of gardening. Etesia is specialised in the design, manufacturing and marketing of professional equipment for green space maintenance.
Our reputation for excellence in lawn mowing performance has been supported by each of our product families and the qualities of ruggedness, reliability, user-friendliness and innovation have become synonymous with Etesia.
A success story
Today, Etesia boasts one of the best networks of green space maintenance equipment specialists in Europe; it has become a key supplier of local authorities and landscape contractors throughout Europe, whilst acquiring an exceptional International dimension with operations in over 30 countries spread over five continents.
The secret behind that success? Lasting values – a passion for people and technical innovation at the service of high-performance machines and the wellbeing of individuals and their environment.
A vision of the future:
Those are the values on which Etesia has built its vision for the future – innovation and a commitment to improvement are the guiding lights of our strategy. That is why, in 2008, Etesia won the INPI Innovation Trophy in the Alsace Region and secured ISO 9001: 2008 Certification.
But Etesia is not resting on its laurels – now more than ever, we aim to set the standards in the green space market in the areas of innovation and high performance. That is why Etesia and its partner Outils Wolf have decided to build a brand new research centre – the Elmar Wolf Research Centre, named after the founder of the Wolf group.
The Mower to Bank On
The tremendous traction and performance of the Etesia Atilla 180 and Etesia Atilla SKF, fitted with our optional dual wheel kit, are effective brushcutters on uneven terrain and steep slopes of up to 27°. These machines allow you to safely tackle steep slopes and hillside verges with ease.
While slopes and hillsides add dimension to the landscape, those same slopes can be extremely dangerous to mow without the correct type of mowing equipment.
The Attila 180 Revolutionary ride-on brushcutter is perfect for safe mowing on banks and uneven terrain. Unique in its concept: automatic self-levelling keeps the operator, engine and controls upright, while the floating cutting decks follow uneven terrain contours, provide a safe environment on slopes up to 50%.
Automatic self-levelling
The exclusive self-levelling system on Etesia’s Attila 180 keeps the operator, engine and controls in a perfectly vertical position even when working on slopes up to 27°.
Floating cutting decks
The 1.8 m cutting deck is made up of two centrally articulated sections. To guarantee flawless cutting, the wheels read the contours of the ground enabling the floating cutting decks to follow the lay of the terrain: flat ground, slopes, hill-sides, gullies, top and bottom of banks. Rear ejection onto the cut surface ensures greater safety.
Optimum conditions
Fitted with a slope alarm that sounds on banks above 27°, an operator presence switch and comfortable seat, low noise, ease-of operation and good visibility minimise operator fatigue. The Attila 180 meets all the standards in force for excellent operator safety.
The mower to bank on
Powered by a 30hp Yanmar water-cooled 3 cylinder diesel engine, Attila A180 has hydrostatic drive, power steering and hydraulic drive to the cutting units. It is specially designed for large sites: – motorway banks, industrial estates, reservoir banks and other uneven terrain.
The Atilla SKF ride-on brushcutter, fitted with our optional dual wheel kit is effective on uneven terrain and steep slopes of up to 25°. Fitted with tyres of an agrarian profile, with a very low centre of gravity and optimised weight distribution (33% to the front, 67% to the rear) ensure easy driveability and stability on banking.
The differential lock with foot control is very practical in use and will allow you to retain control while mowing on slopes, even if a drive wheel loses grip. Fitted with a profiled mowing deck and reversible swing tip blades (85 cm cutting width), the system allows mowing in difficult conditions.
Hand or foot control for drive transmission, from 0 to 10 km/h: select the control you prefer and adapt your speed precisely to the terrain (slopes, obstacles etc.) or grass for closely controlled mowing.
Easy driving
The Atilla SKF is fitted with a cruise control system to maintain your working speed, a feature that is highly appreciated while mowing large areas. Silent, low vibration, thanks in particular to its soundproofed housing and silent block mounted engine, the Attila SKF sets the standards in the area of comfort and use. It cuts the noise levels of market standards by up to half. You will feel the difference, especially during prolonged use.
A mower that can be adapted to your build…The seat has armrests and moves forward and back on a rail for adjustment, the seat suspension firmness is adjustable, as is the steering wheel tilt.
Driving pleasure
The steering system is responsive, smooth and requires no effort. The wheel has a knob for dynamic and enjoyable driving, especially on rougher terrain or with obstacles. All the controls are accessible from the driver’s seat for maximum comfort and greater safety.
Many features as standard
Dashboard controls: ignition, blade start-up, lamps, horn and maintenance/operation hour counter are centralised on the dashboard. Towing ring, drawbar (for trailer), front lamp, horn and seat armrests all come as standard.
Safe in every respect
In addition to compliance with all the applicable standards and directives, the Attila SKF goes even further in terms of safety: The parking brake is controlled with a pedal and is very easy to apply and release. The pedal position is designed to be extremely ergonomic. Tank filling is clean and safe – a retention duct drains away extra fuel in the event of a spill.
Practical maintenance
Nothing needs to be removed to change the engine oil, thanks to a valve fitted on the engine. The valve is extended by a pipe that drains the oil away to the rear of the machine from where it can be collected easily. No removal for changing the oil and replacing the drive transmission filter, with easy access to the rear of the machine.
With Etesia, you can mow slopes with confidence, security, and ease to give you the ultimate bank mowing experience.
