Ferguson Manufacturing Company
Ferguson Manufacturing Company was founded in 1907 by Walter Ferguson and W. E. Debnam. The Company started building the Ferguson Peanut Picker which was invented by Finton F. Ferguson, father of Walter Ferguson. Ferguson has been at the same location and been a continuous employer since 1907. They have been the leaders in the manufacture of peanut equipment and powered rotary cultivation equipment. Ferguson Manufacturing is currently owned and operated by Emmett and Noreita Burton.
