We are Chemical, Pesticide and Organic Pesticide free. Which means we do not use any pesticides, chemicals and organic pesticides on our plants. We operate an Integrated Pest Management (IPM) system which means we use tiny good bugs who love eating aphids, whitefly, etc. so no use of pesticides are needed.

About Us
We are a family run business based in Worcestershire in the vale of Evesham, home of the UK market gardener.
The origins of the company date back 3 generations, growing vegetables for the local markets. In the early seventies our production focus changed to producing lettuce plants en-mass for growers to plant out as modules for harvest.
We then became a sector leader for the production of high quality plants, where we invested in the modern equipment available at that time. Production peaked at 65 million plants a year, grown in specialists’ germination chambers and glasshouses.
With the rising cost of production materials, cheap imports and supermarkets running the growers into the ground, the business changed focus in the late eighties, to providing garden centres with ornamental bedding and pot plants.
Once again overseas competitors could compete on prices and there was little profit to be made in this sector. With our vast knowledge of vegetable production it was decided to re-enter the vegetable markets place with products for the amateur gardener.
The hardest part of growing any plant is the initial germination of the seed and the first six weeks of its life. Amateur gardeners are unable to consistently achieve and maintain the necessary temperatures in this critical stage of growth. We on the other hand have the infrastructure to do so.
We can now claim a customer base of over 400 garden centre outlets throughout the UK and Ireland. Some of our customers make just one or two purchases a year, while others buy from us on a weekly basis.
Our selection of products and varieties, range from the traditional to the most modern that are available today, with vigour, heavy yield and disease resistance all part of our selection criteria. Many of our varieties can be found on the shelves of your local supermarket.
