Automated systems cause significant savings through a reduction in staff requirements and increased productivity. How quickly these systems give a return depends above all on the degree of automation and their operational reliability. It is also important to plan reserves for the future (higher capacity or throughput performance, other bulk materials).
All goods which are stored and transported have their own specific properties. We therefore analyse the flowability of each bulk solid and the resulting requirements for the material flow system. For our research we also use scientific knowledge and collaboration with technical universities (Brunswick, Vienna). If required, experiments are carried out on site or in our technical centre. Today we can thus fall back on a database with over 1000 bulk...
Through our extensive knowledge of poorly flowing bulk solids we are sensitised to the typical problems (bridge formation, segregation, blockage of conveying bodies...) and know how to prevent them. Out of the combination of current laboratory values and the experiment results in the technical centre we develop an economic design which incorporates our long-term experience.
