The history of Hanlon Ag begins in 1984 and we continue to write it each day.
  • 1984 - The company was started by Tim Hanlon as an Allis Chalmers/ Gleaner dealership.
  • 1989 – Allis becomes Deutz- Allis.
  • 1990 - Agco purchases Deutz-Allis and becomes our major supplier.
  • 1991 - The Hesston line is acquired by Agco and Hanlon Ag takes on the contract.
  • 1992 - Keith Shirakawa and Bill Volk purchase a portion of Hanlon Ag from Tim.
  • 1993 - The Mf line is secured.
  • 1996 – The company is growing fast and expansion of the service shop to 3x the original size is completed.
  • 1997 – The Morris seeding, tillage and hay equipment contract is added to complement our equipment offerings.
  • 1999 – The Fendt tractor contract is secured and becomes an integral part of our tractor offering.
  • 2001 – Brandt ag products comes on board with sprayers, harrows and grain handling equipment to further enhance our product line.
  • 2006 -  An additional warehouse added to more than double our parts storage facilities.
  • 2007 – Expansion of our second level to add a video conference room for training requirements.
  • 2008 –  The Challengerand Rogator contracts are added to fully complete the range of large scale products we offer. At the same time the Sunflower and White Planter lines are added.
  • 2010 –  Renovation and expansion of the internal parts storage area to more than double its storage capacity.
  • 2012 –  Lemken tillage products are added as a complement to our diverse tillage offering.
