J W Installations (JWI)
We are a family run business with over 35 years experience in bulk materials handling. JWI specialise in grain dryer plants, bulk materials handling and processing systems and storage solutions for both agricultural and industrial applications. We are independent agents to a variety of manufacturers. We offer unbiased advice to deliver competitively priced, robust, efficient solutions, affording the same attention to detail to each customer. John White originally established a successful steel fabrication business and after five years, his agricultural roots led him to pair his existing engineering firm and farming expertise to expand into the grain drying and storage industry. Over time John’s sons, James and Charles joined the business bringing with them their own engineering and agricultural expertise.

About Us
Based in the North Yorkshire countryside, JWI was formed in 1999 by father and son, John (pictured left) and James White.
Working with a variety of trusted manufacturers we have built a reputation for quality, reliability and professionalism. In 2006 after many years of selling and installing various grain dryers and handling equipment, we acquired Allmet, a well established grain dryer manufacturer.
We believe customer satisfaction, product development and partnership working have all been vital to the sustained growth of the company. This is evident in the number of loyal customers who return to us year after year. We are proud to say many of those same customers recommend us to industry colleagues. We have also invested and improved in our premises allowing business development and a more responsive, cost effective service. Over the years we have added a dedicated assembly hall, warehouse, electrical workshop and design and sales office. We have also invested in the latest 3D CAD design software and expanded our dedicated teams of electrical, mechanical, installation and service engineers.
The strong links we have forged with our partners has enabled us to diversify into other industries such as food processing, recycling and biomass. We are confident that our knowledge and expertise will allow us to deliver first class services to customers past and present.
Our services are backed by a fully equipped in-house steel fabrication workshop alongside design, mechanical, electrical and service departments. This means that whether you are considering building a new grain processing plant, upgrading or expanding an existing materials handling system, or you need consultancy advice, maintenance, servicing or parts we can meet your needs.
In our bid to monitor and manage quality across all of our operations, we achieved the ISO 9001 accreditation in 2014. This is the world's most recognised quality management standard.
