Kalt is a leading inter­na­tional specialist in cheese, dairy and process technology. Founded in 1962, the family-owned company is headquartered in Lütisburg in eastern Switz­erland and exports its machines and systems all over the world. The technology is used in tradi­tional cheese dairies as well as in industrial production operations. Cheese experts

Our cheese experts have learned how to make cheese from the ground up. They know what is required for an optimal production process comprised of milk treatment, cheese curd production, filling and pressing, brine bath treatment, and care during ripening storage. They als understand the needs and requi­rements of our customers. On this basis, they work together with our mechanical engineers to design the systems and support our customers on site to ensure the optimal use and calibration of their Kalt systems.

Our mechanical engineers have the entire range of skills needed to turn the requi­rements of our customers into an ideal solution – from a small cheese vat to a fully automated, all-in-one system. We specialize in end-to-end projects with turnkey solutions.
