Kössler - Voith Hydro
The company was founded in 1928 as a repair workshop for turbines and generators. Kössler later began developing its own turbines and controllers and steadily improved its market position. In the 1980s, the company was honoured by the government of the Republic of Austria for its activities in the small hydropower sector. At the same time, Kössler increased its sales markets and now generates 20 of its sales on the Austrian market and 80 in Europe and overseas. The company also received an export award from the chamber of commerce in 2005 for its high export rate.
