The family business founded in 1995 was launched based on practice, not theory: in the truest sense of the word, until 2000 Kurt Krannich was ready to climb on the roofs himself to install photovoltaic systems. At the same time, he was also participating in the development of solar modules at the Fraunhofer institute, Europe’s largest application-oriented research organization.Krannich Solar quickly became a specialized wholesaler and systems house for photovoltaic installations. We plan and design high-performance photovoltaic systems and support both trades people and major energy utility companies, providing advice and skills in two key business areas: Wholesale and Project Support.
Krannich Solar has also set a course for growth on the international stage. In 2010, the installed capacity of the Krannich Group amounted to 1000 megawatts, with 50% accounted for by overseas projects. Some 350 employees are responsible for driving the energy revolution forward. It’s thanks to this commitment that Krannich Solar has already become one of the leading providers of photovoltaic systems in Europe.

As a business area with an international focus, Krannich Solar Project Support helps customers to realize large-scale projects.We can support you through all phases of your project, from development, technical planning and realization right through to system operations, or you can opt for support only in certain areas of the project. In this case, the customer makes use only of the support components they really need, providing other services themselves.
