Bid Tabulations
Once bids are received for an Authority project, an apparent low bidder is announced. In the days following the bid date and prior to the next scheduled MWA Board meeting, the Authority staff prepares a bid tabulation of all received bids to confirm the bid calculations and resulting total bid of each bidder. Projects Under Construction
After projects are awarded and contracts completed, the MWA staff hosts a pre-construction meeting with the awarded contractor(s). Normally, a "Notice to Proceed" (NTP) is delivered at this meeting. The project start and end date are posted in the NTP as well. At this point, the project is under construction and continues until the project is accepted by the MWA as completed.
