About Us
In 1946 John and Anne Marks, parents of eight children, took the risk of a new adventure. John constructed a barn on their family farm and made space in part of it to begin his own business. This was the embryo of what would continue to grow from one generation to the next. Since those early days, the pleasures of providing personalized metal fabrication have endured and flourished for over three generations. The team work and craftsmanship of our expanding work force is clearly one of our primary assets. The people reflect our passion. Several of them have been with us more than 20 years.
In addition to capable and committed people we have also invested in modern technology, enabling them to bring new efficiencies to the markets that we serve. From prototyping to production runs, our multiple lasers, CNC forming systems, orbital and robotic welding combined with other precision tools enable us to serve our customers well. Every year we keep the priority of significant investment in technical research and development.
We are a close-knit business. We have lived under the sober acknowledgement that discipline combined with commitment produces prosperity which has the capacity to destroy them both. Our values are simple – to continue a tradition of integrity while making the most of our God-given resources and opportunities. We are in business to serve our customers with vigor, efficiency, and quality workmanship.
We have left the farm, now surrounded by residential development, and inhabit 55,000 square feet on 5 1/2 acres of industrial land. The third generation has demonstrated a clear preparedness to continue building on the foundational work of their forefathers. It is our daily pleasure to see our people exercising diligence, creativity, and teamwork in their efforts to secure our place in a challenging and changing marketplace.
