About us
Norweco is an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of water and domestic wastewater treatment equipment and chemicals. Norwalk Wastewater Equipment Company was originally founded in 1906 as a manufacturer of sheet metal-jacketed wooden molds, used to produce concrete burial vaults. Molds were sold to distributors around the country who were licensed to manufacture the “Norwalk Vault” in their local area. Additional mold designs were developed to produce septic tanks in the 1930’s, aerobic treatment plants in the 1950’s, and bomb shelters at the height of the Cold War in the 1960’s. In the 1970’s, the mold division, the precast concrete division and the wastewater treatment division were split into three separate companies. Throughout our 100 year history, Norweco has been a leader in product development, customer service and market expansion.
Today, Norweco products are sold throughout the world. Our commitment to growth, innovation and service is unmatched in the water and wastewater treatment industry. We are proud of this record and point to our motto, “Progress Through Service Since 1906,” as our enduring commitment to our customers. Our creed, “Today’s Answer for the Protection of Tomorrow’s Environment,” is our pledge for the future.
