Precise Irrigation

Precise Irrigation was set up in 1991 with the objective of supplying and installing manual and automatic irrigation systems. However it has become apparent that whilst this market has continued to grow, the much larger DIY market has been ignored. In 1996 we produced our first brochure and DIY catalogue aimed at this market and adjusted our advertising accordingly. The results to date have been encouraging. Unlike other companies we offer our customers a design service and technical support along with a very comprehensive range of products at competitive prices.

For a complete turnkey service we have the experience and resources to handle any garden, landscape or sports turf project regardless of size. We have over 300 sites in England, including many National Garden Scheme gardens that are open to the public.

A professionally designed system will ensure that optimum use is made of resources and materials. We are able to offer innovative solutions to individual situations. Emphasis is placed on ensuring an adequate and sustainable water supply is available to the project. We take care to calculate the pipe sizes and pressure losses to ensure that the correct amount of water reaches each target area.

We provide a full site evaluation & estimate. We analyse the area to be irrigated and calculate the hydraulics of the system, taking into account the slope of the site, the different areas to be watered, mains water pressure, alternative water sources and whether or not a pump is required.

Usually a verbal estimate is given to the client immediately after options and requirements have been fully discussed. A written quotation can then be prepared.

We provide a written quotation, with full technical specification of required water and power. In most cases we also provide a plan of the site showing the proposed position of our supply pipes and sprinkler lines, indicating where we might have to dig under or cut through drives and pathways. Our written quotation will also include our standard terms and conditions and our guarantee. Quotations can be provided for supply only (see the section on custom kits) or to include our full installation service.

We have teams of specialist installers who arrive with the relevant equipment and will install your system to the design specifications with a minimum of disturbance to your plants and garden. If you wish to see an existing clients system we can arrange this for you.
