About US
Renby Limited’s mission is to work for a sustainable, cleaner and safer world. We achieve this by working with our customers to implement systems that are efficient and make optimal use of resources. Renby’s history stretches back to 1966 when Ben Travis founded B. Travis & Co. (Engineering). This company incorporated in 2001 to form Renby Ltd.
Robin Travis, who is the current Managing Director of Renby, started out his career as a graduate electronic and electrical engineer. Under his guidance, the company has transformed into a dynamic engineering company that identifies proven environmental technologies to save money for you, our customers. Often coming from niche areas, new products are introduced to other industry sectors, resulting in new, innovative answers to industry problems. By applying our multidisciplinary skills, we work with your team to understand your processes and guide you with product selection.
At times, there may be no answer to a particular application, when this is the case, we devise our own. Renby holds one patent and its forerunners a further four.
About Tarvin Mill
Tarvin Mill is located 5 miles east of Chester, in a rural location, just at the edge of Tarvin village. The water powered mill was constructed in approximately 1820. Before being converted into offices in the early 1970s, Tarvin Mill was changed to electric operation in the early 1900s.
As an established site of green energy production, it seems fitting that even 200 years on, The Mill should play host to a company that is heavily involved in the supply of equipment to companies generating green energy from alternative fuels. Different technologies but similar underlying principles!
