About us
1966
VALPADANA established SEP, specialized in manufacturing and marketing mowing machines.
1968
SEP created the mowing machine with 1 wheel and side mowing bar, a machine that was to become a reference point in ground care spheres.
1971
Always innovative, SEP produced a reversible two-wheeled tractor that could also be used with frontal impleme
1975
The company began producing a family of steerage hoes designed to meet specific requirements for soil working and small transporting jobs.
1981
The trailers hitched to the steerage hoes became an integral part of the machines, which now turned into transporters.
1998
The hydrostatic assembly designed by SEP was installed in a small tractor and marketed under the name of GULLIVER.
2000
SEP was taken over by ARGO S.p.A., holding company of the group to which LANDINI S.p.A. also belonged. However, SEP still continued to be autonomously run as regards technical, sales and administrative matters.
2001
SEP S.p.A. took on the new name of VALPADANA S.p.A. in 2001. This change in the business name underscored the company’s renewed commitment in the tractor manufacturing field besides strengthening its traditional core-business sphere, i.e. manufacturing and marketing two-wheeled tractors, steerage hoes and power-driven mowers under the SEP trademark. Production was concentrated in the factory of San Martino in Rio, via Don Pasquino Borghi, where VALPADANA S.p.A. has its registered offices
2004
JUNIOR, the new hydrostatic tractor with 2 ratios and 12 to 16 HP power ratings was produced.
2008
The product range continued to evolve and the MULTY 30 HST series, featur-ing a Perkins three-cylinder 26 HP engine, made its debut. This was the smallest all-purpose implement-towing tractor with hydrostatic transmission and reversible cockpit available on the market.
2009
SEP widened its range to include the Dumpy “Mini-Transporter” available in a vast choice of models, with mechanical and hydrostatic versions, and with different types of engine.
2010
Further evolution of the one axle machines series with the introduction of 3 new models: MFC 70 (hobby motor mower), MFT 300 (flail mower), MFH 800 (hydrostatic implement carrier). New tractor Multy 730 HST–R equipped with new Yanmar engine of 26 HP, reverse driving position and new hydrostatic transmission with 2 speeds.
