About Us
The Einbock Company was founded by Leopold Einbock in 1934 as a blacksmith shop specializing in horseshoeing and farm vehicles. It was in the middle of the 1950s that he started the production of farm machinery.
The modern factory situated approximately 40 miles west of Linz has benefited by a huge investment in machine tools and technology including a large laser cutter and robot welders etc.
Managing Director of Terrington Machinery Importers Ltd, Mr. Brian Coleman was approached whilst exhibiting at the Royal show at Stoneleigh in 1991 from a representative of Einbock who were seeking an importer for the UK.
Brian Coleman and Terrington Machinery started importing the Einbock Tined Weeders for the then fledging organic cereal and vegetable growing industry in the spring of 1992.
Very soon it was discovered that the Einbock Weeders were an ideal machine for improving agricultural and amenity grassland. Together with the Einbock seeders, they have greatly helped the UK farmers to improve their grassland and in doing so, helped with the profitability of grassland.
