Our feeders will help you save valuable time whilst cost effectively rearing healthy productive calves and lambs. To improve the efficiency for the calf rearing enterprise, the decision was made to purchase a computerized calf feeder. After looking at what was available in UK and overseas the decision was made to import a machine from Francois Legrain at Biotic Industries in the United States. The policy of bring innovation into British Agriculture continues with the addition of new and exciting products from across the world.
TMF Milk Feeders was started by Mr Tim Farrow and Dr Ruth Lawson in 2009 as a joint venture to their established farming and engineering company TMF Agri Services.

As calf rearers who also lamb over 180 ewes, we fully understand the challenges farmers face! Our nutritionist has a PhD in ruminant nutrition and also works as a nutritionist for an agricultural feed company, as well as several years working in commercial research. Our service manager has more than 20 years experience in agricultural engineering and product support. The two disciplines come together perfectly to provide expertise in computerized calf feeding.
TMF Milk Feeders bring you a reliable and consistent product that takes the hard graft out of rearing youngstock. The machines are simple to use, yet highly effective, and as one of our customers said “if you can use a mobile phone, you can use these feeders”.
The machine was such a success, and interest soon grew in the new calf feeder. That was when we made an agreement to start importing the US built calf and lamb machines to the UK.
