Townline Equipment is a full sales, service and parts dealer of new and used tractors and equipment serving New Hampshire, Vermont and New England. A family-owned business since 1971, we offer high quality construction, farming, compact tractor and attachment products for contractors, farmers, homeowners, landscapers, municipalities and more. Our quality products partnered with our first-rate service give our customers the best possible value for their equipment dollar.
Townline Equipment is synonymous with high-quality products and first-rate service because it is and always will be committed to customers first. More, it has the history and experience to back up this promise. As a boy, Bob Marrazzo worked many years at a small Case dealership in agricultural Salem, NY, where he grew up. After college and employment as a district representative for Case, he signed on as the manger/owner of Townline Equipment. Established in 1971, Townline had three employees and the usual new-business challenges when Bob arrived in 1973, and every key development and change at Townline since then has been made toward providing the best products and service for Townline customers. We've carried the Kubota line for over forty years and are one of the original, twenty-five Kubota dealers in America. We built a 60 x 60 shop addition in 1981 to improve customer service and constructed a 40 x 120 pole barn in 1991 to house our growing supply of short line attachments and Kubota components. When major equipment corporations re-organized like Case Ag, Case CE and New Holland Haytools, we fought and kept the quality equipment lines our customers expect and deserve.
We now have over 8,000 active customers - many in the Upper Valley, but also throughout Vermont, New Hampshire, New York and Massachusetts - and so we built a new 90 x 180 facility, finished in 2007, in order to meet our responsibility and commitment to provide a large inventory of parts, complete and timely equipment service to all of our customers, and a safe, energy-efficient work environment. We recently added a second service truck to the Townline fleet, and now have 27 employees, including second and third generations working in the shop, all to provide the best products and service to our customers.
Sons Drew and Matt Marrazzo, now owners of Townline, are also shaping its future. Both worked summers and part-time at Townline when they were young, Drew in the shop and parts departments and Matt in parts department and the business office. Drew joined the sales team full-time in 2004. And after working in marketing and accounting for another local company, King Arthur Flour, for four years, Matt joined Townline full-time in 2008. Both Drew and Matt share the values and vision that have shaped Townline. In assuming the responsibilities of full-ownership of our family owned business, they look forward to serving the Upper Valley and New England community, and to providing the best equipment and service to Townline customers for the next forty years to come.
