Tractor Parts Company was founded on April 1, 1965 by Roger and Marilyn Broadt on the simple premise that they would stock a large inventory of quality parts for all makes and models, with a knowledgeable sales staff manning the counter and enable our staff to sell at the most reasonable prices.
Roger was a U.S. Army trained diesel engine mechanic, and had been working for an International Harvester Dealer in Bloomsburg for twelve years. He had done repairs and sales until the dealership was sold late in 1964. Roger initially began business as a Temco (H&M parts) dealer, offering a vast selection of aftermarket parts at discounted prices and focused on selling parts for all makes of tractors (Tractor Parts Co is still ranked as one of their top ten dealers to this day). The staff and owners soon decided to add the Woods product line to compliment our growing business and in 1970 became an authorized Kubota Tractor dealer. In 1991 we enhanced our already high quality product line with the John Deere consumer products line. Tractor Parts Co. currently stocks the largest Woods parts inventory in the eastern region, a full line of Kubota Equipment - including not only their fine family of tractors, but also their rugged Construction Equipment line. Our John Deere consumer products line ranges from Walk-Behind Lawn Mowers up to Heavy-Duty Garden Tractors, and everything in between. As a result of our extensive history in the farm equipment business, we have accumulated of all types of older parts for many makes of tractors and ground tillage equipment. We service everything we sell, our technicians are factory trained to provide the best and most efficient repairs and maintenance for our entire product line. Roger and Marilyn have two sons, David and Dan. David was just one year old when the company was formed, and his brother Dan showed up to help in 1968. They have grown up with the business and each has contributed significantly to this family owned and operated company.

In 2003 the Broadt family purchased the Wal-Mart building located on Columbia Boulevard, approximately two miles north of the Town of Bloomsburg.  Wal-Mart continued to occupy the building until the winter of 2004, when they moved into their new location near the Columbia Mall.  The building was turned over on December 23, 2004, and demolition and remodeling began that evening.
On April 1st, 2005 the new TPC Power Center had its Grand Opening, also celebrating the Forty Year Anniversary of the founding of Tractor Parts Company.
