Wealden Flowers is run by husband-and-wife team Arjen and Margaretha Huese: together they sow, plant, weed and grow the flowers for the wholesalers and the local florists in the area.

Arjen trained as an organic/biodynamic grower in Hollland, and Margaretha has it in her genes - her father and her grandfather were both  organic/biodynamic growers in Germany!

Together they farm 5 acres of garden land in Forest Row where they grow flowers for a range of customers. They also rent a 1 acre nursery site in Lingfield for the production of greenhouse crops.

They use exclusively organic and biodynamic methods of horticultural production, and they never use any chemical pesticides or fertilisers.
