6th 5‐day Global Jatropha Hi‐tech Integrated Nonfood Biodiesel Farming & Technology Training Workshop September 23‐25, 2013

July 11, 2013 -- The Biodiesel Business Academy, the training portal of Centre for Jatropha Promotion & Biodiesel (CJP) , announced that the main agenda for the 6th Annual Global Jatrophaworld Training Programme has been finalized, unveiling that the CJP’s scientists/ experts will be discussing the latest advances in nonfood Biodiesel commercialization, research and finance at the industry’s only training workshop. The agenda for the international training, being held Sept. 23-Sept. 27 in Jaipur, India can be viewed at: www.jatrophabiodiesel.org .

Among the agenda highlights are updates on the full range of nonfood oil-crops and technology from fuels to feeds and specialty chemicals. CJP has brought together the best expertise and brightest brains to discuss and analyze the present and future dynamics of Jatropha, Jojoba, Moringa, Pongamia, Simarouba, Castor and Algae. Attendees will be able to increase their knowledge about Jatropha and alternative energy and also learn about other most important nonfood biodiesel as referred herein from experts.

JatrophaWorld 2013 will showcase agricultural advancement to grow the jatropha and other nonfood oil crops effectively with proper resources i.e. balancing resources to end up with a sustainable long-term solution without harming the environment. The focus of the programme shall remain on three major thrust areas—genetics, agronomics and horticulture practices—so the plant will grow with optimal productivity. While agronomic work is an important first step in the development of any new crop, for new oilseeds to reach commercialization, several other factors need to be addressed. With any of these crops, there is definitely an education curve for producers to be able to understand how it fits into their rotation

“Nonfood oil crops are attracting more attention than ever because we are seeing, something new is happened in the field of nonfood biodiesel crops on daily basis throughout the world.,” said Maharshi Abhishek , executive director of BBA. “Our meeting in Jaipur will highlight the tremendous progress that nonfood oil, researchers and scientists have made around the globe. CJP is all set to discuss the entire Nonfood oil production from ground zero to scale. All important Topics shall be covered relating to Agronomy; Horticulture, Biology, Engineering, and Marketing and Financial aspects of Nonfood Biodiesel commercialization.”

The JatrophaWorld 2013 is designed to educate all stakeholders about critical issue of availability of right feedstock at right cost to make biodiesel a long-term business opportunity. Global JatrophaWorld 2013 marks the 6th edition with resounding success.

CJP had 5 Global Jatropha Hi-Tech Agricultural Training Programme in India, were attended by more than 70 countries with grand success. The word “Excellent”, which was used by many trainees to describe their experiences, sums up the JatrophaWorld Training experience. With Jatropha cultivation becoming an intensifying worldwide trend, how to ‘Do It IN Right Way’ dominated the entire training, with discussions centering on the best practices in Jatropha for maximum returns. All the trainees who attended were glad to have had the opportunity to take their learning beyond the air conditioned comfort of the conference room, and out into the actual field where they were able to see, touch, feel and do Jatropha planting first- hand

Products made from nonfood oil are the natural solution to the energy, food, economic, and climate challenges facing the world today. Nonfood crops have the power to simultaneously put fuels in vehicles, recycle CO2, provide nutrition for animals and people and create jobs for millions of unemployed youth across the globe.
