Agricultural industry shows confidence at Agritechnica

Already over 200,000 visitors - one in four visitors from outside Germany

Hanover, Germany -- Today Agritechnica, the world's largest trade fair for agricultural machinery and equipment, already shows great visitor turnout halfway through the show. Agritechnica organizer DLG (German Agricultural Society) today  announced that Agritechnica 2015 so far has been visited by around 200,000 visitors since it opened last Sunday on 8th November.

This figure is of similar levels to Agritechnica 2013 halfway through the exhibition. Preliminary estimates show that a quarter of the visitors come from outside Germany.
The mood at the more than 2,900 exhibitor stands is characterisd by confidence. Farmers from all over the world generally come to Agritechnica to prepare and equip their farms at home better for the future. This includes collecting information about the latest techniques that improve the efficiency in crop production. This goal may be achieved through electronics and automation but also though new dimensions in the machine performance both of which are especially showing great potential.

With its broad and wide offering Agritechnica provides farmers with an extensive information platform which is proving particularly useful in the current challenging market conditions.  Such a forum allows not only the exchange of information but also useful comparisons in order to make appropriate decisions.
The Agritechnica 2015 runs until Saturday, 14th November 2015.
