CHICAGO, IL - The Washington State Department of Agriculture (WSDA) has certified BiOWiSH™-Hydroponic as an organic material.
BiOWiSH™-Hydroponic is a commercial fertilizer that helps stimulate microbial activity, increase nutrient availability and improve plant vigor, while preventing sludge build-up and problematic scaling in dripper lines, micro-tubes and Nutrient Film Technique (NFT) gulley floors.
'We know BiOWiSH™-Hydroponic is the best product in the market. This certification allows farmers in the organic sector to use our product with confidence,' said BiOWiSH Technologies Senior Executive Vice President of Agronomy, Bill Diederich. 'Our case studies have shown time and time again that BiOWiSH™-Hydroponic is a great improvement on traditional hydroponic farming practices.'
The WSDA Organic Food Program protects consumers and supports the organic food industry, according to the department's website, by ensuring the integrity of organic food products through establishing organic standards and certifying organic producers, processors, and handlers.
Developed for traditional soil-based farming, BiOWiSH™-Crop has also received an organic certification from the WSDA.
