Certis has more CPD points on offer at Cereals 2016 with a total of two BASIS and two NRoSO points available to those who follow this year’s ‘Slug Trail’ and visit the Certis stand.
The ‘Slug Trail’ runs between the Certis (337), Water UK (338), and DeSangosse (332) stands which are all positioned in close proximity and requires participants to answer questions to update their knowledge of best practice with regards to slug control and stewardship practices.
This offers two NRoSO and one BASIS point to those who complete both the questionnaires.
Certis also have a separate BASIS questionnaire worth one point covering pest, disease and weed identification, alongside questions to update agronomic knowledge on blackgrass control, and wider product stewardship initiatives.
CPD is something Certis take very seriously, explains Nathan Whitehouse, Certis’ marketing manager. “With our technical and key account team all being BASIS qualified, we realise the importance of providing CPD opportunities.
“The Cereals event offers a great way for people to gain up to a maximum of six BASIS and six NRoSO points per day – two for attending the event and four from the exhibitor knowledge trails, of which two for each accreditation scheme can come from completing the ‘Slug Trail’ and visiting the Certis stand.
