It’s all part of the service
This week we’re in Belgium to maintain two of our animal carcass incinerators
Last week we wrote how three members of our engineering team have travelled to Adelaide, Australia where they are currently completing the installation, commissioning and hand-over of a large equine cremator plus a multi-chambered pet cremator. This week ‘Team Matthews’ has been on its travels again, although it has to be said this time it is much closer to home. Lee Grundy, one of senior engineers, has packed his bags and his toolbox for a trip to a valued customer in Belgium where he is conducting a routine maintenance service on two of our animal carcass incinerators that were originally installed several years ago.
These particular animal carcass incinerators were part of a contract that was awarded to us by a large pet cremation operation. The original installation included a large, purpose-designed and built equine incinerator, plus a bespoke twin-chambered per cremator that was custom-designed and engineered to meet the specific requirements of our customer.
Since that original installation, which took place a number of years ago, both animal carcass incinerators have been in virtually full-time operation on a week in, week out basis as they have efficiently fulfilled the rigorous demands of what is an extremely busy equine and pet cremation facility.
All our animal carcass incinerators are built to the highest international standards and offer full compliance with all relevant regulations, including the latest EU and local authority environmental and safety standards.
Although all our ‘Made in the United Kingdom’ technology is backed by the industry’s most comprehensive guarantees and warranties, like any rigorously employed mechanical apparatus it does require the occasional routine service in order to ensure that it continues to operate at the maximum level of efficiency and that it maintains its original legal levels of compliance.
As far as we are aware the equine cremator and the pet cremator are still working extremely efficiently, but purely as a matter of procedure and for our customer’s total peace of mind, Lee has flown to Belgium to check that everything is performing as it should and to undertake a routine service.
When he has finished we are completely confident that both of these animal carcass incinerators will continue to perform at the highest level and will continue to provide complete satisfaction for what is already a very satisfied customer.
