RKW and Hyplast are joining forces

Frankenthal -- After approval by the German Anti-Trust Commission, the RKW Group has taken-over 100 % of the Belgian company, Hyplast NV. In the future, the company will operate under the name RKW Hyplast NV. The acquisition will have a very positive strategic impact on RKW’s Agricultural Films and Nets business and will create a lot of synergies between both companies.

The Belgian film producer will be a part of RKW Agri GmbH & Co. KG which is a 100 % subsidiary of the RKW Group and in which RKW has concentrated its agricultural business. Included in the purchase is the recycling company KPR as well as an office in Chester, South Carolina / USA which takes care of the marketing and sales of products for the North American market.

Both companies look forward to working together and are convinced that in the future, this cooperation will serve customers even better.

The Belgian plastics manufacturer produces a wide range of silage films and tubes, early harvest and greenhouse films as well as some construction films. “Due to the perfect fit, we expect high synergies and we will significantly strengthen our strategic position” says Roland Roth, CEO of RKW Group.
