TOMORROW: EPA and DOE to make energy star announcement
WASHINGTON -- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) will hold a press call tomorrow to discuss pilot testing of a new product designation within the Energy Star program. Americans, with the help of Energy Star, saved nearly $18 billion on their utility bills in 2010 alone and enough energy to avoid greenhouse gas emissions equivalent to those from 33 million cars.
