Valtra stand attracts crowds in Paris

Valtra was prominently on display at the Paris International Agri Business Show SIMA 2015, which took place from 22 to 26 February. Held every other year, SIMA is the second largest agricultural machinery exhibition in Europe after Agritechnica in Germany, and it has continued to grow in size and international scope.

The Valtra stand attracted unusually large crowds of visitors this year. In addition to the brand new T Series, the excellent location of the Valtra stand no doubt also was to thank.

The star attraction on the stand was a Valtra T234 Active Unlimited, featuring a champagne paint job, beige interior, and leather on the seats, steering wheel and elsewhere in the cab. The announcement on Monday evening that the T Series had won the Machine of the Year award attracted even more attention to the three T Series tractors on display. Still, also the other machines on display received their share of the interest of the visitors. The machines included: A73 Compact with front loader, N103 HiTech 5, N163 Direct equipped with special Valtra Unlimited features and Valtra's flagship the S374.

The new T Series received the prestigious Machine of the Year award in the 180-280 horsepower category. The jury consisted of 19 independent agricultural journalists representing 17 European trade magazines. The award was presented to Rob Smith (SVP and General Manager of AGCO EAME), David Rein (Sales Director, Valtra France) and Jari Rautjärvi (VP, Managing Director of Valtra for AGCO EAME)
