Aluminium Anodizing Plant
Automated anodizing plants for anodizing various aeroplane components. Galvatek’s anodizing plants for aviation industry are used typically for high grade airplane parts and interior equipment. Plant produces very accurate film thickness due to our state of the art Galcont automation control system. Typical number of anodizing tanks is 1-2, which are supplemented typically by degreasing, (cold/hot) rinsing, etching, desmut, hot sealing and electrocoloring tanks/stations.
Process of the line
Anodizing is an electrolytic passivation process used to increase the thickness of the natural oxide layer on the surface of metal parts. Aluminum alloys are anodized to increase corrosion resistance, to increase surface hardness, and to allow dyeing (coloring), improved lubrication, or improved adhesion. Chromic acid anodizing, Sulfuric acid anodizing, Tartaric Sulphuric anodizing and Phosphoric acid anodizing are among examples of different anodizing solutions made possible by Galvatek plants.
Galvatek plants are always scaled and designed by the needs of the customer and product maximum dimensions in the treatment process. Largest tank sizes delivered have been even up to 9 meters in width.
