ATC - Model 79 Ecr - Electronic Register
From Fuel Pumps and Oil Meters
ATC measures the temperature of petroleum products during delivery and automatically adjusts the volume recorded according to an established reference temperature. The sale display shows the temperature-compensated price and volume for an easy-to-understand, seemless transaction. All the liquids, include petroleum products, contract or expand due to temperature. To find how much the liquid contracts / expands, that must know the coefficient of expansion. This coefficient is 0.00082 for Industrial diesel.

In Petroleum Refineries, the fuel is sold out of the legally adopted temperature 15°C.
For example in 40°C;
- 40 – 15 = 25°C
- 25 * 0.00082 = 0.0205
- 0.0205 * 1000 = 20.5 liters (As you see, 1000 liters of diesel expand to 1020.5 liters in 40°C)
When you buy a 1000 liters of diesel from the refinery and sell it while the diesel in 40°C, then you are;
- 40 – 15 = 25°C
- 25 * 0.00082 = 0.0205
- 0.0205 * 20.5 = 0.42 liters
- 20.5 - 0.42 = 20.08 liters of unfair profit.
- Same calculation can be done in low temperatures. This time diesel contracts and the customer is in unfair profit.
ER 79 ECR with ATC probe measures the fuel temperature in every 2 second and calculates the fuel volume as it is delivered in 15°C.
