Steam jacketed cooking kettles are available with a vertical (top) mounted agitator. This design is utilised when the steam jacketed area is also covering the sides (straight wall) of the vessel body - usually only the bottom hemispherical bowl which is steam jacketed. Therefore agitation and optional scraped surface agitation is designed to cover all of the heated areas of the vessel to eliminate food product 'burn on'. This method also increases the heated area available and efficiency of heat up time with larger volumes.

  • The top design is generally a bridge mounted across the top opening with 2 x half hinged lids with optional safety grates either side of the top opening to allow for product ingredient addition.
  • CIP sprayballs, product inlets and water addition flow meters are available with any kettle design.
  • Steam kettles are designed to AS1210 - Australian Pressure vessel code and all Inox Kettles are quality manufactured and documented to the highest degree, including state WORKSAFE design registration.
