Kuhn Krause - Model TDH 7300-18R - Tandem Disc Harrow
In sizes from 18' to 34', the Kuhn Krause 7300 Flex Wing Tandem Disc Harrow offers a wide range of standard and optional equipment choices to match the specific tillage needs of your farm. Kuhn Krause 7300 Rock-Flex model discs feature C-Flex type bearing arms to 'flex' over stones and other obstacles. The 7300 cuts, sizes, and mixes residue into the soil for faster breakdown and earlier soil warm-up. Soil and residue are mixed thoroughly by the 22' full concavity disc blades enhancing soil tilth in the root zone.
The 7300 features a 17 degree front and rear gang angle. The 17 degree gang angles give the 7300 unmatched performance for residue sizing, soil mixing, herbicide incorporation and field finish while reducing draft and compaction. You can choose from the Class l Seed Bed Finishing Model 7300 with narrow 7-3/4' blade spacing or choose the Class ll All-Purpose Model 7300 with wide 9-1/8' blade spacing.
The Kuhn Krause 7300 Disc Harrow is constructed of massive 6' x 6' main members to provide strength and rigidity. The one-piece center frame rocker shaft eliminates the need for linkages between rockers and the overlapping gang design provides a level field finish, the trademark of a Kuhn Krause disc.
Wing wheels feature a forward action rotating close to the front gangs for precise depth control and reduced gouging in terraced or rolling conditions. This Kuhn Krause design advantage limits the need for optional front gauge wheels.
Walking Tandem Wheels
Walking tandems wheels smooth out rough fields to work at a consistent depth across the full width. In transport, the walking tandems evenly distribute weight for smoother roading.
Side-to-side leveling is easily fine-tuned with simple eye-bolt adjustments - one on each wing.
Single Location Remote Depth Control
Single location remote depth control, conveniently located at the front of the disc, makes it easy to fine tune depth adjustments. Return to the same depth after each pass or change depth from field to field in a matter of seconds. The sight gauge makes depth setting more convenient.
Rear gangs feature tapered blades to eliminate ridging. Bolt-on extension spool and furrow filler blade are standard equipment on 7300 discs.
Kuhn Krause rigid scrapers are heat treated and hot formed from the same high carbon steel we use in our disc blades. The result is an extremely strong and efficient scraper that resists wear. You can adjust each scraper individually or move the entire gang of scrapers at the same time. 3 ½' wide scrapers are standard equipment. A 5' wide scraper is optional for use in wetter soils.
