Ormi Farm - Model Rivera - Linear Feeder
Rivera linear feeder is designed to be able to dispose of the waste generated by the excess food that we generate daily. With this feeder we avoid throwing food on the ground, a practice that causes possible infections for our chickens, while attracting numerous unwanted insects and vermin. It is an ideal feeder to generate less organic waste for the environment, taking advantage of the surplus to feed the chickens, and can even mix with feed in the same feeder. The Rivera linear feeder is made of reinforced galvanized sheet to ensure a longer useful life of the product, it has a reinforced galvanized protection, this extra layer of zinc is important, since this feeder will house any type of solid or semi-solid food, more corrosive than different types of feed, grains or forages, which are usually the normal food of chickens.
Comes in two sizes: 60 and 120 cm.
It has a 20mm diameter top bar that rotates on its own axis so that the birds cannot perch.
This bar has a thickness of 1.5 mm that makes it super resistant and perfect to use as a handle to transport it from one side to another regardless of whether it has more or less weight, since the tube will remain firm and solid. The farmer can handle the product with every guarantee that it will not break.
It has plastic studs so that the metal is not in direct contact with the wet ground, thus preventing the metal from rusting earlier in that area.
The channel area of the feeder doesn’t have any corners, so it is very easy to clean before adding the food.
The Rivera feeder has two rods on the sides to prevent them from removing the feed from the side.
The feeder is served disassembled and in a cardboard box to optimize the number of units per pallet as much as possible.
It is thought and designed to give the organic leftovers of the food from home to your chickens, promoting the circular economy within our house.
This feeder is also used to make leftover mixes with feed, grains or vitamin supplements that you want to provide to your chickens. Then you can easily clean it thanks to the fact that the feeder has no corners. And in case you want to do a thorough disinfection, you can remove the lids without problem.
