Massey Ferguson - Model 6100 and 6200 Series - Tractors
The MF6100 series was built from 1995 to 1999 and the MF6200 series built from 1999 to 2003. The MF6000 ranges included all of the tractor sizes that specialist livestock farms, mixed farms and small and medium-sized arable farms needed. The MF 6000 series are ranges that included four and six-cylinder models with a power range of about 70 to 135hp. The 6000 was a heavier tractor than the 4000 series of the same era. The four-cylinder models weighed between 4000 and 4500kg and the six-cylinder between 4500 and 6500kg.
The MF6000 ranges all had Perkins 127mm long-stroke engines.
The 6100 to 6150 models had four-cylinder engines of between 71 and 95hp. The four-cylinder 6235 to 6265 had 75 to 105hp.
The 6160 to 6190 had six-cylinder engines of 100 or 130hp. The later 6260 to 6290 had six-cylinder engines of 105 or 135hp.
