Model MCX - Climate Control System
If the number of control functions of the greenhouses is limited to top vents, side vents, on/off heating, screens/shading and circulation fans or a subset of these, it is possible to use the MCX series of Multicompartment Climate Control Computers. Up to 6 compartments can be controlled at the same time. The way of controlling in each compartment is the same of that of the µAgricomp Computers, the only limitation is the number of the controlled installations:
MCX-CR controls up to 6 compartments with ridge vents, on/off heating e dehumidification.
MCX-CRO controls up to 4 compartments with ridge vents, on/off heating, dehumidification and shading.
MCX-CLRO controls up to 4 compartments with ridge vents, side vents, on/off heating, dehumidification and shading.
MCX-CLRV controls up to 4 compartments with ridge vents, side vents, on/off heating, forced ventilation and dehumidification.
MCX-CLROV controls up to 3 compartments with ridge vents, side vents, on/off heating, dehumidification, shading and forced ventilation.
MCX-CLRBOV controls up to 3 compartments with ridge vents, side vents, on/off heating, soil heating, dehumidification and forced ventilation.
Also the MCX computers can be connected in a Master-Slave configuration in order to use only one meteo station. The number of Slaves that can be connected to a Master in theory has no limitations. This allows to control a very high number of greenhouses without problems.
A Supervision PC can also be connected and allows to control all the Climate Control System from a centralized station. If we think that every computer has its own keyboard and display, that allow a local programming and visualization, we can say that the µAgricomp and MCX, with the Supervision PC, are distributed and centralized systems at the same time.
The PC Supervision Program has been expressly developed by Agricontrol to give the user of the µAgricomp/MCX Climate Control Systems and AGRIMIX Fertigation Systems a powerful mean to easily control even very complex greenhouse installations.
The Supervision Program allows: the real time visualization, on an animated drawing of each greenhouse, of the measurements made by the different sensors; the visualization of the alarms state and of the state of the commands generated by the distributed computers; to create historical files of the measurements and their visualization as graphs or tables; to program the set-points of every distributed computer in a simple form; etc. Since every µAgricomp/MCX/Agrimix has its own keyboard and display, that allow to visualize and program every function of the computer standing in the greenhouse and the Supervision PC allows the visualization and programming of all the climate computers and fertigation units connected to the serial line, we can say that these control systems are distributed and centralized at the same time.
